Though the feature is called to be the Windows 10 Dynamic Lock, Windows Central reports that it is internally referred to as Windows Goodbye, which is a nicer name. As you are already aware of the functionality of Windows Hello that logs you into your device with ease, this Dynamic Look compatible devices automatically get locked if you are not with your device.

The computer locking system is a feature that already exists and locks the device after a set period of inactivity but, this latest Windows 10 Dynamic Lock is a smarter and more responsive version of the same. Until now, there are not more details revealed of the feature’s functionality.

It is speculated, on the other hand, that the Windows 10 Dynamic Lock will be working similar to that of the Windows Hello and will be using its compatible cameras or proximity sensors to see if the person is there or not. As it is said to be a smarter update, it is hoped not to lock the system if you are sitting right next to it but not using it.

One more advantage os this update is the increased security to the system. Windows GoodBye will be arriving along with the Windows 10 Computers as part of the Windows 10 Creators Update that is set for April 2017. Stay tuned for more news and updates and Press CTRL+D to bookmark this page: FitNHit
