WhatsApp Media Sharing Limits Expanded from 10 to 30, GIF Library in Android Beta Version

WhatsApp Media Sharing Limits Expanded in its Android Beta Version: Similar to the Facebook messenger, the Android Beta version of WhatsApp has introduced its GIF search support. So now, one can select any GIF according to the situation from the library and send it to others, which is much time saving. As already known, this Facebook-owned messaging service has first added the facility of sending the GIF videos in August followed by sending saved GIFs on phone. This feature of GIF library just rolled into Android while the WhatsApp Media Sharing for iOS was released in November last year.

From now, WhatsApp Media Sharing in GIFs can be used by selecting the GIF icon which will be available very next to the emoticon icon. This feature is similar to that already present in Telegram. You can have a quick search of GIFs by entering the emotion and insert them right from the app according to your chat conversations.

This new feature of WhatsApp Media Sharing in GIFs may also be seen as TENOR GIF search, rather than the one powered by GIPHY, which is to be noted. Added to this latest cool feature, the Beta version of WhatsApp has also increased its media sharing capacity from 10 to 30, which is welcoming.

But, the WhatsApp Media Sharing is limited to 10, as of now. The said latest features are available for Android devices in its Version 2.17.6 beta which is said to be arriving soon for a stable version. The GIF Library feature of Android devices was anticipated as it was already available on iOS devices.

With India being one of the important markets for this messaging service, more and more updates are expected to be on the row for the users. According to some leaks, the company is working on a new ‘Status’ tab update that could allow the users share their stories and experiences, similar to the one available on Snapchat.
