This is not a new addition or feature as there are a number of unified applications available on the Google Play Store but, this one, in particular, has been rolled out by Samsung, exclusively for its customers. Samsung Focus App can be downloaded and used only on the Samsung mobile devices which operate on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or above. The main functionality being its multi-account support, the app enables “Exchange Active Sync (“EAS”), IMAP and POP3 users that can be utilised to manage calendar, memo, Email, task, and contacts at a time in one place easily.

All those servers that support the Exchange Active Sync (“EAS”) such as Exchange Server 2003 SP2/SP3 and above, Google, Naver (IMAP/POP3), Office 365, Hotmail, Outlook.com, and others are also supported by this Samsung Focus App as it is EAS enabled. The main advantage of this app is that one can be able to save their appointments and important tasks, messages like that in the Google Now feed.
Once you install and open the App on your Samsung Android device, you can be able to see a universal search option on the top-right corner while the tabs for quick access to Email, calendar, memo, and contacts can be screen at the bottom of the mobile screen. This multi-account supporting App also lets its users so as to join conference calls easily.

The company clarifies in a note in its Google Play listing saying, “Samsung Focus App does not operate any cloud servers. It connects only to the actual mail servers. It stores your account’s data on the device, and Samsung Electronics never access any user data”. All the interested Samsung Mobile device users of Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and above can download and install this latest App by following the Google Play Store.
