The Filmfare 2017 Nominations are out and it is interesting to know that the three Khand of the industry, Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir will be going head to head in the Best Actor category. This class is going to happen after 18 long years and it is already exciting to guess which one of the three is going to bag the award or will it be someone else from the list to grab it.

The 62nd Filmfare 2017 Nominations for the awards have been released for 10 of its various categories. This time, the Best Short Film category has been added to the list. Back to the Khans clash, this is going to be the third time that the three actors have been nominated for the Best Actor category, for their respective roles in Maneesh Sharma’s Fan, Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan and Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal this year.

Alongside the three actors, there are also Amitabh Bachchan, for Aniruddha Roy Choudhary’s Pink, Sushant Singh Rajput for Neeraj Pandey’s MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Shahid Kapoor for Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab and Ranbir Kapoor for Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil who joined the list.

For the last time which nominated the three actors together in the year 1999, SRK bagged the award for his character Rahul in Johar’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. On the other hand, there have been arguments raised on Twitter for not nominating Akshay Kumar in the Best Actor category.

Akshay Kumar gave splendid performances in Airlift and Rustom and now, it has been a constant discussion on why the actor has not been nominated and why the nominations are being biased. It is surprising to note that Akshay Kumar who did not make it to the list of nominations had three Rs 100 crore grosses this year.
