Facebook Auto-Playing Videos with Sound: Facebook has been working towards grabbing more attention is introducing many new updates one after the other. Now, it seems like it is going to give its full attention to the videos. Facebook has announced many new updates for its videos; few are interesting while few are not.
Facebook Introduced Auto-Playing Videos with Sound and Support Picture-In-Picture Mode
The uninteresting update of Facebook is that it will now start auto-playing videos with sound by default. Up until now, the videos used to load in the background without audio playback, where the user need to tap in order to hear the audio, but now without the need of clicking on the video, a user can watch the video along with the audio by default. This is a bit of a headache to anyone as unnecessary videos will also play by default.
This new update of autoplay of audio will be enabled by default irrespective of the users’ concern. Facebook has introduced this new autoplay feature in a different way than usual. The audio of the video will get lower and higher on scrolling through the News Feed. This different implementation of the update will be quite helpful. Users can disable the automatic playback of audio entirely if they don’t want it and better still.
The videos will not play with audio if your phone is in silent mode. Facebook said that the feature has received a positive response from its testers so far. Now, it is time to know the interesting update that Facebook has introduced. Facebook has introduced picture-in-picture (PIP) mode not so recently which will allow the user to watch the video in a tiny window while browsing.
On Android phones, this PIP window will appear on your Android Home Screen even after the user exits the app. Other than these two updates, Facebook has come up with yet another update named vertical video. This vertical video feature will allow the user to watch the videos in full-screen mode.
All these new features will definitely be going to grab the eyeballs of the Facebook users. Stay tuned for more news and updates and Press CTRL+D to bookmark this page: FitNHit
