Hyderabad: An Autorickshaw driver named Murali Krishna also known as Kittu has been caught by the Meerpet police, Hyderabad on Tuesday. He is imprisoned for assaulting school girls multiple times. He used to target the school girls who went home to have lunch or the once who return after having lunch. He used to call them inside his house for helping up her sister for some work and assault them. Later, he used to threaten them to kill and assaulted them multiple times.

Police have reported that many victims are yet to be approached and with the help of AP Balala Hakkula Sangham some victims have approached the police. They have claimed that a rape case should be filed against Autorickshaw driver, Murali Krishna. One of the victims who is a 9th class student from Jillelaguda studying in a government school has been passing over Krishna’s home and he called her inside to help her sister. She said, “When I went inside, he gagged my mouth, undressed me and assaulted me sexually. I was scared to tell my parents. Later he started threatening to kill me and repeated the same multiple times. He should be arrested and punished severely”.

Krishna started it doing a few months ago and once he helped a couple to get married at Yadadri and after that he has threatened the man for marrying a minor girl and assaulted her for three days at a house in Ghatkesar. Later the couple has been caught and the man who married is sent to the jail and the girl remains silent and hasn’t said about Krishna to her parents.

One of the victim’s mothers has said that Krishna has assaulted her child too and she can’t reach the police as her child’s marriage is going to be scheduled soon. Police have filed a case on him under Criminal Amendment Act 2016 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Meerpet inspector Ch. Rangaswamy has said that “We have taken action on the complaint we received from one girl. If more victims come forward, we will register cases and take action”.
